Katherine is a seasoned attorney with a strong background in intellectual property and estate planning, offering invaluable guidance to hundreds businesses and families for more than a decade. Her legal practice is centered around trademark, estate planning, and business advisory services. Additionally, she serves as an "external in-house counsel" for established international clients and emerging local startups.

Katherine's educational journey includes earning her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree and a Certificate of Specialization in Law & Technology (Intellectual Property) from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Remarkably, she pursued these academic achievements while working as a senior research analyst at one of the world's largest independent proxy advisory firms.

After gaining extensive experience in the private sector, Katherine transitioned to a role as an Attorney in the State of California. Her career in this capacity has seen her successfully argue in numerous criminal and administrative trials, where she honed her skills in courtroom advocacy, motion drafting and argumentation, and witness examination during trials.

Katherine holds admission to the California Bar and is a familiar presence in Los Angeles courts, as well as various other courts across Southern California.

 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Katherine is deeply committed to pro bono work, actively engaging with local churches in various capacities, including roles in music ministry, as a board of trustees member, treasurer, and secretary.
